Fire safety education reached new heights when the Firezone - America's first experiential fire safety learning center - opened in October 2000. Suddenly kids were being empowered with the message that they themselves could take action to help stop fires before they started.
In creating two 30-second PSAs, our goal is to capture that sense of empowerment with which kids emerge from the Firezone. To do this, we will portray real kids as members of a confident, capable and very cool fire safety team.
Along with the Firezone, these PSAs have the potential to create a whole new generation of "honorary fire marshals."
