SANDHOGS: THE SERIES

SANDHOGS is becoming an eleven-part series. Scheduled to join HISTORY'S wonderful AMERICAN ORIGINAL lineup this fall, New York's infamous tunnel workers will finally hit the open air. Production breaks ground in May. Co-Executive produced by Eddie Rosenstein for Eyepop and Craig Piligian for Pilgrim Films.

SANDHOGS Feature Doc

Post-production is almost complete on SANDHOGS, a two-hour doc special for HISTORY. Sandhogs are the legendary urban miners who have dug everything under New York City for the past 150 years. Their latest project,"Water Tunnel #3", is their most audacious ever. Bigger in scope than the Panama Canal, the fate of New York depends on this tunnel's success. Yet few even know the project is underway! This is the story of the men who have, literally, always been at the bedrock of the world's most famous city. Directed by Eddie Rosenstein, Produced by Rick Velleu and Eddie Rosenstein. Associate Produced by Peter Ginsburg.

SCHOOL PLAY Completed

SCHOOL PLAY, our independently produced feature doc, captures that period in life when you are (as one character puts it) "too old for play dates, but too young for hanging out". What starts out as the creation of a school play quickly becomes a coming-of-age journey for a group of grade school kids from a sleepy, New York suburb. Produced and directed by Rick Velleu and Eddie Rosenstein; Co-Directed by Idehella Therp; Edited by Tom Griffin.

"YEAR" Premieres at Sundance

THE YEAR OF GETTING TO KNOW US, a feature film co-written by Rick Velleu and Patrick Sisam, premiered to audience raves at the 2008 Sundance Film Festival. Jimmy Fallon, Sharon Stone, Tom Arnold and Lucy Liu star in film, which is a dark comedy about a man who returns home to confront his past -- and discovers he's becoming his father.
