Reality People

Reality People

What happens to the people who become instantly famous on Reality TV? Can they really go back home, back to being “real” people? Do they even want to? And if they can’t go back, what skills do they have to go forward?

Reality People was the first verité documentary about reality cast members trying to perpetuate their fifteen minutes of fame.

Urbantrike

Urbantrike is a start-up of cool dudes intent on bringing back the big wheel. When they launched a Kickstarter to get rolling, we got to make this video to help them achieve their goals (and then some.) Brand ID pieces followed.

Heart Healers International

Heart Healers International is a not-for-profit that’s doing remarkable work. They are literally saving hundreds of lives – and may potentially save nearly 100,000. They’ve helped create the first pediatric heart surgery facility in Uganda and are working to reduce the burden of Rheumatic Heart Disease in all of East Africa. We do their branding work, create their fundraising films, identity packages and provide ongoing creative consultation.

The Greatest Tunnel Ever Built

NYC’s urban miners, called Sandhogs, have built every tunnel under the city for over a hundred years. They are rough and tumble brotherhood of men who work hundreds of feet below New York, in a parallel universe. Their work is crazy dangerous, but also wildly important. Without these tunnels, the city above literally couldn’t exist.

This award winning feature film served as the pilot for the epic series SANDHOGS. In order to make this film Eddie Rosenstein became a union miner himself, working for months on a drill and blast gang. As Eddie helped mine the tunnels, his union brothers in turn helped make this landmark film.

The Team

Eddie Rosenstein

Eddie Rosenstein

Executive Producer/Director

Eddie was born in the mountains and raised by wolves. He founded Eyepop when he was just a pup. Since then, he’s made some of the coolest docs you ever saw, loads of TV shows and great corporate campaigns. Eddie is known for his immersive approach, which he attributes to his years in the wild.

Amie Segal

Amie Segal

Producer

Amie is a human Swiss Army knife. She can juggle six jobs, three crises, two screaming colleagues and still keep plates spinning. She started her film career as an intern at Eyepop. Now she enjoys letting everyone know who’s really the boss.

Rick Velleu

Rick Velleu

Creative Director

Rick is Clark Kent. He’s mild mannered, but packs a wallop. In kids TV, he co-created the mega-hit ‘Dora The Explorer’. He’s won an a Emmy Award for his documentary work. And he recently shocked us all by buying Palmolive Ultra Dish Liquid … in Pomegranate! Boom! Take that Lex Luthor.

Carlos Almonte

Carlos Almonte

Director/Editor

Carlos is our certified genius. A jack of all trades, he’s also master of most. Tireless in the field and whiz bang in post, Carlos likes to challenge the new mac pros with his own processor speed. Never bet against Almonte. Don’t even try to outdrink him.

Boris

Boris

Office Cat

Boris is neither smart nor handy. He sits on people’s keyboards while they’re typing and nudges their hands while they’re trying to hold a camera still. Luckily, he’s cute.

Peter Ginsburg

Peter Ginsburg

Associate Producer

Pete knows stuff. We call him Pete-i-Pedia. He knows how many marsupials there are in North America, how to shoot slo-mo with a Fisher-Price Viewmaster and how to get a cat onto a stick safely. (Sorry Boris!)
